Experimenting with moving some of my Photo and Video pages over to the Weebly blog format of pages, has made me go ahead with the decision to move the website over to the style, while it will take a while to move my photo and video archive over, the plan is to get the What's On Guide over to this format before March.
Moving to this style will reduce the number of direct pages were each sub page will instead be as a post on its parent page. Ie. with my photo and video pages these are being moved to being a page dedicated to a singular railway (see Llangollen Railway page) with each event at the railway on that page, and by clicking on the post it will display just that post. The homepage will update you to updates throughout the site, along with having a featured video and pages from time to time... Their is an RSS feed to the right on the home page which displays all the latest updates to the website. |
