Carrying 60103 on her smokebox and 502 on cabled and 103 on the other, Flying Scotsman is now running in on the East Lancashire Railway, following overhaul by Riley & Sons Engineering. I managed to catch her on Thursday 7th January 2016 at Bury Bolton Street station.
Click here for photos and video of Flying Scotsman at Bury. Not a bad first sight of steam in 2016. My last steam of 2015 was Boxing Day at Llangollen when on a passing visit I saw Standard 4mt 80072 in steam on the lines Mince Pie Specials. Click here for photos and video of the recently returned to steam locomotive. Comments are closed.
