Celebrating 50 Years since Reopening to passengers on the 29th June 1968, the Keighley &Worth Valley Railway held a week long gala. I attended four days of the gala taking in the sight and sound of Royal Scot, Ivatt 41241 on the re-opening recreation, SVR Pannier 7714 (running on Thursday and Friday as Keighley's 5775), amongst a large variety of locomotives and vintage carriages in action.

The previous weekend I spent a couple of days enjoying 20 Hunslets (including Russell on the WHHR) running around Porthmadog, at Hunslet 125, celebrating Blanche and Linda's 125th Birthday.
