Last Wednesday I took another trip up to Aisgill to witness Black Five 45231 in the sunshine on a Fellsman service. Looking excellent after repairs following issues at Llangollen earlier in the year, video can be found on my Cumbrian Fells page...
On Saturday I took a trip over the Great Central Railway which was hosting a Steam Gala commemorating the closure of Woodford Halse Shed 50 years ago. The Flying Pig visited from the SVR and 9F 92212 came up from Hampshire in a 6 locomotive line up. The event was mine first with a lineside pass and video & pictures can be found here... I'm constantly adding photos and videos from my archives and have complete adding pictures from my East Lancs visits, with some previously unpublished photos included. Comments are closed.
