Edward Thomas visited the Severn Valley Railway's Spring Steam Gala on the weekend of 18th to 20th March 2016. She operated footplate rides at Highley on temporary track laid outside The Engine House. Celebrating 150 Years since the formation of the Talyllyn Railway, all five steamable Talyllyn locomotives were in action over an intensive weekend of operations with two special visitors in the form of the Ffestiniog Railway's Prince and Welsh Highland Railway's Russell. Talyllyn No. 1 & No. 2 Corris Railway Locomotives No. 6 Douglas on a Goods to Brynglas No. 7 Tom Rolt Locomotive Line Ups at Wharf Saturday Evening Photo Shoot Dolgoch Photo Charter - Sunday Morning Visiting as part of an Easter week in Wales, the railway was running a two train passenger service with Tal-y-llyn and Duncan (aka Douglas) in action alongside Edward Thomas on a footplate experience turn.
