As lockdown continues and the UK preserved railway scene slumbers awaiting reopening I have continued uploading videos every Tuesday and Saturday:
My Steaming Along series has finished on Saturdays now, but I have some further compilations planned. Tuesdays will continue as Locomotive Collection videos focusing on Big Four/BR locomotives. Saturdays this month will see a look at locomotives from the Caledonian Railway (6th June), Great Western Narrow Gauge (13th June), Locomotives Built in the 21st Century (20th June), Recreated Locomotives (27th June). Next month will see 'Industrials On Saturday', while August will see 'Goods on Saturdays'. Three days, three railways, three special events. Friday 6th March 2020 saw an afternoon enjoying a L&Y feast on the East Lancashire Railway. Celebrating the return to steam of 51456, one of the L&Y Trust's Pugs was brought from the Ribble Steam Railway for static display during the event.
The next day I paid a visit to Llangollen, were their first steam locomotive Austin 1 was operating her first passenger trains on the line this century (including her first ever trains to Carrog). On Sunday 8th March I paid a visit to the Keighely & Worth Valley Railway, for their Annual Gala featuring GWR 4144 from Didcot Railway Centre. Three S160's were in action together on the Churnet Valley Railway for a special fundraising weekend for their Leek extension. Click here for video and pictures for the day.

Ian Riley's pair of Black Fives are captured at Chester on a Railway Touring Company special. Video from the tour can be captured here. Back in October, we paid a visit to Blackpool taking in the illuminations which included a parade of the three operational illuminated trams. Click here for video from the day. Each Friday, I am currently releasing a compilation video. The Steaming Along series looks at 6 different railways over the past decade. The 15inch gauge, Kirklees Light Railway, held their steam gala over the weekend of 14th/15th September 2019, the event took an Estate Railway's theme. Click here for pictures and video. On the way home from attending the Saturday of the gala a stop was made at Todmorden to see Braunton crossing the Rochdale Canal, click here for video.
Over the August Bank Holiday Weekend, two Locomotive Services Limited Icons of Steam locomotives were in operation in East Lancashire. Braunton was operating on the East Lancashire Railway, while Britannia operated a circular journey from Crewe via Copy Pit.

Flooding has affected the Conwy Valley line many times over the years, to celebrate the latest reopening 8F 48151 and Leander hauled a special train promoted by Transport for Wales, 'The Conwy Quest'. Click here to see my video and gallery from the special.
